the traditional forms of knowledge fostered sustainability

in the Modern economy and with the modern educational system, children learn nothing about that (their local surroundings) but instead their learn essentially corporate products in an urban consumer culture

western education has grown over the last few centuries especially with the rise of industrialization: (is to produce) elements to feed into an industrial production system...they were PRODUCTS with partial knowledge. we move from wisdom to knowledge and now we are moving from knowledge to information and that information is so partial that we are creating incomplete human beings.

i love Allah and I love every book Allah threw into my path

i don't regret every moment being a weirdo literature stream student who yeah envied the clever science students and also the accounts class students who seemed to get the chance to do more paintings. i don't regret every day I walked slowly under the trees so that i can crush the dry leaves beneath my feet. I don't regret taking the long way to college so that i can take the LRT and watch the clouds from the train window.

oh dear mama, now I understand why everything happened. why I got into FOE. why Allah gave me Adni as my friend.

colonial india

malaysia, my dear malaysia. how are you different?

20:09 - scary.

"education for all" backed by big corporations, etc. what does it mean to be part of mainstream?

They speak english with an indian accent, they look in fact very "malay" (which I will now strongly believe to just be a race that is a mixture of all races you have in this world.)

i want to buy plain white t-shirts or thawbs or dresses for my children and write on it with fabric ink: do not feed this child growing up formula or he/she will never set foot into your house ever again as long as i live. wallahi.

the bottom line is, don't be pawns in the game. don't purposely close your mind and choose to be ignorant.
