Kampung Insan is (for now) a whatsapp group.

About Kampung Insan:

Concept:
1. Connect mothers and muslimah sisters from the same post-code and different post-codes via online medium and the next level (see below)

2. Facilitate mothers and muslimah sisters from the same post-code and different post-codes to develop friendships OUTSIDE of electronic mediums via involvement with pre-existing programs, i.e meeting up at soup kitchens, free markets, etc organized by other groups.

WHY do this?
1. Because of Allah. Any intention which is purely because of /for Allah is rewarded by Allah. Care to share the daleel in the comments? :)

2. No woman is an island. Especially not in our urban city-style way of living. You could use a friend. (Not in a negative way ofcourse!). This urban city-style way of living demands us - women of all hats - to be independent in a dangerously back-breaking way. It has removed from us our village and put us into concrete boxes or steel horses. We really can blend this with some aspects from traditional village living. Kampung Insan is my effort :)

3. Our 'village' has long become a global village years ago due to internet, but after facebook, etc our village is now almost too virtual. We're spiritual beings in human form and thus this is how I foresee the way we must blend the technology with our innate needs for support and socialization.

4. It's a jungle, a race, if not a 'war' out there. You could use a friend :) But to have one, you will need to work on it. Please refer to the book The Little Prince (pages ____ will insert soon).

Area:
This pilot test starts with Selangor.

WHO can join?
1. The target for now is young women aged between 20-40. There is really no age and religious discrimination, but FOR NOW, we will start with 20-40 year old muslimah ladies who are:

• single
• soon to be wifeys (bakal pengantin)
• soon to be moms 
• childless moms
• adoptive moms
• single moms
• anything goes, all welcomed.
