My note: Allah has made the system perfect, do we know how to let our body run its software?
2. Pain has a purpose. pg 12
My note: Alhamdulillah -
(a) La yu kalli ful lahu nafsan wus 'aha: Surah Al-Baqarah: Verse 286
(b) 'ajaba li amril mu'min:
Sekiranya dia ditimpa kesusahan lalu dia bersabar, maka kebaikan baginya." (HR Muslim)
3. [Pain]...compels a woman to do something to relieve it, and in making helpful adjustments in her body she often makes adjustments that help her baby's well being. pg 12
My note: The instinctive, "animalistic" natural desire to move about has been tampered with and discouraged due to let "modern technology do its work". This phenomenon should be re-analysed.
4. A pain-free birth without risks is a promise your doctor can't deliver. There is no pain-relieving drug that has ever been proven safe for mother and baby.
My note: But anyway, you learn the WEIGH the BENEFITS and the RISKS for YOUR situation before and during birth. And then you use it wisely.
