Sense of Humor: How much is too much?

I don't like people making fun of my religion, but I also feel sad when people make fun of their own. Some people will call it creative or just plain humorous, educational even, and even money-making. For example, products/toys like "Jesus Action Figure" , "Virgin Mary Toast Stamper", Dashboard Jesus, and many more. Products like this does not actually surprise me when they are 'thinkers' and 'intellectuals' out there who even claim that religion is a disease of the mind. Astargfirullah...

But honestly, it is not these toys, products or physical idols that pose a threat. At least not anymore.

Don't believe me? Allah says in the holy Qur'an that the Yahudi and the Nasrani will NEVER be satisfied with us until we follow (read: copy) their way of living. Please check Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 120. And I mean that, go and get the translation NOW and look for 'chapter 2' on top of the page and search for verse 120.

So what I mean to say is, it's not so much of the obvious invitation to convert as much as it is a stealth-y, slow and steady, irresistible seduction to do what they do.

Note to self: Many or most will be suspicious of you, a homemaker with a degree in TESL, trying to 'talk' about religion. Never falter from the truth, no matter how it is made to look like a crime. Never. Never. Ya Muqallibal Qulub, Tsabit Qulubana 'Ala dinik!
